Denver’s Dangerous Theatre proudly brings back this popular holiday show for the 3rd year. Since the play was written around the personal holiday experiences of the actors, this year’s production will be a little different as we have two new cast members this year: Lucky Johnston and Johannes Markus.
The Perfect Gift is a story about Stacia and how she has grown to hate the whole holiday season. She says it is nothing but a giant commercial machine that makes people feel guilty if they do not spend enough or get everyone they know that one, perfect gift. On Christmas Eve she runs into a homeless man she frequently shares lunch with while on the way to delivering her daughter a gift. He invites her to a Christmas Eve celebration under a bridge with another homeless man. She decided to go and along the way discovers that sometimes you really need to listen with your heart. Sometimes the most perfect gift is not one you can wrap.
