ABOUT ABOUT

The Obscene/Courageous Theatre Company is bringing The Who's Tommy to the Dangerous Theatre stage.

Tommy Walker witnesses a horrific event that renders him deaf, dumb and blind. Isolated in his own head, Tommy learns that even the most damaging experiences imaginable can lead to enlightenment – but when he’s miraculously healed, can he share that knowledge with his new-found followers? Since its release as a concept album in 1969, The Who’s Tommy has shocked and inspired audiences with its mixing of spirituality and irreverent pop culture. Ob/Co’s production celebrates the dark humor, kinky sex, and strong heart of this revolutionary rock opera, guaranteed to leave you thoroughly entertained and at least a little bit disturbed.

Due to violence, sex, and disturbing situations, this show is for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY.
